CAMP ST. JOHN PAUL II POLICIES, RULES, AND REGULATIONS

 

Camp St. John Paul II is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise. Our camp is for established Catholic Ministries within the Diocese of Boise that follow the teachings of the Catholic Church.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

 

Quiet time: 10pm-8am. Please be considerate of others. No loud music at any time.

Maximum speed is 5mph! Watch close for children playing in our recreation areas.

Check in time: 2pm MST Check out time: 11am MST

WiFi: Camp St. John Paul II is a NO WIFI area. You will find a better connection.

​

Deposit for camp: A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve the entire camp for groups.

​

Food: We are sorry, but we are unable to modify recipes to provide for dietary needs at our camp. While we make every effort to ensure our guests enjoy their experience at Camp St. John Paul II, we cannot guarantee the total absence of nut products, gluten-free products, dairy products, or other common allergens on our premises. We also cannot guarantee that any of our manufacturer-purchased products or products introduced by guests are free from allergens (including dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, wheat, and others).

Parking: Parking is available on Camp SJPII premises. Our parking lot is limited so if you have multiple vehicles please coordinate ahead of your stay.

​

Motorized Vehicles: ATV’s, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and all passenger vehicles are not permitted at Camp St. John Paul II.

​

No Smoking: No Smoking at St. Camp John Paul II.

​

Restrooms and Showers: Do not wash dishes in restrooms. Limit showers to 5 minutes. No food or drinks. Do not flush anything but toilet paper in toilets. Leave the showers ready for the next person. No wipes of any kind!

​

Pets: No Pets are allowed at Camp St. John Paul II.

​

Dress Expectations: Choose modest clothing that conforms to the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church and the Diocese of Boise.

​

Cabin Appearance: Cabins and sites are to be kept clean and orderly. No tarps, no clutter, large mats, turf items and other mats will damage our natural environment and are not allowed. Leave your cabin ready for the next renters. Cleanliness to our camp is very important to us.

​

Fires: Fires are only allowed in designated fire pits. Fireworks, open firearms, generators, and outside refrigerators are not allowed at our camp. Do not move fire pits. Do not burn trash. At any time during the hot seasons when fire danger is high, we reserve the right to restrict fires. This is for your safety, the safety of Camp SJPII, and our neighbors.

Conduct: Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive, or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated. This will be the reason for immediate eviction from the camp without refund.

Property Damage: Any damage to Camp St. John Paul II will be restored to its original condition. All costs with the restoration will be paid for by the renter.

​

Evening Garbage Service: Animals are attracted to the smell of food and waste. To keep our camp safe, we need your help to remove garbage every night. Garbage will be collected every evening in front of Cabins and RV/Tent Sites.

​

Liability: All camp facilities are intended for the convenience of our campers. All people using the camp do so at THEIR OWN RISK and consent. The Diocese of Boise and Camp St. John Paul II are not responsible for accident

due to fire, theft, wind, flood, personal negligence, acts of God or other unfortunate circumstance. The registered campers are financially responsible for all individuals at their site(s) and for all damage to the camp or others.

Camp St. John Paul II and acreage is a privately owned and managed camp. Management reserves the right to evict or refuse service to any person or persons who disregard policies without refund. Management reserves the right to make changes to the policies and fees at any time. For everyone’s safety, this property is under 24-hour surveillance. Be Christian, be safe, be kind, and have fun.
